Final Selection of Official Themes for Smeego 1.0
Posted by admin on Wednesday, May 07 @ 21:49:22 COT 19 reads
Today, Smeego entered in the final development phase. In this phase I'll be selecting few very cool themes that will be included in the first release. Other graphic intense themes will be available from Openmax.com when they are ready.Among almost 60 themes that are being tested I'll select around 10 to 15 to include for free on the official release. After this phase is completed, I'll start to test the entire system on few computers: a Dell server running Linux, Dell Worstation running XP, iMac, Mac Mini and MacBook Pro. All these system except Linux ones will be operated using the various flavors of packages that includes Apache Web Server, MySQL database server and PHP running as module. I don't have a final release date, but I think that in a week or two you can see Smeego CMS 1.0 birth! (comments? | Score: 0)

Hello all... Today, smeego.com goes live and opens its doors to the public as a new content management system project. The software is almost ready and will be available for free under the GPL license. We're doing some final touchs to the version 1.0 that will be available in a few days. This is the official site of Smeego CMS and is obviously powered by the system. While we finish the first version you can browse this site to know what to expect from Smeego. I'll publish any advance or news about the first release here if necessary. Hope you like what you see here and please feel in your home! Welcome to all!!! (comments? | Score: 0)
